POSITION INFO:

Financial services entity is looking for a young, dynamic professional to join their Cloud-Accounting department. For this position, they will be looking at the following characteristics:

Job responsibilities will include managing and leading a portfolio of accounting and tax clients using various cloud accounting systems. Further responsibilities will include client communication and client relationship management, deadline management, producing monthly management reports, Payroll & VAT Review, Income and Provisional Tax return Reviews, AFS and ensuring that the statutory requirements of the clients are met (e.g. SARS-requirements).
The individual will also partly be responsible for overseeing the work of SAIPA trainees.

Candidates will need to be hungry to learn and to apply their skills and knowledge (both on a technical and interpersonal level).
A market related salary will be offered for the position depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Head Office: Cape Town, Western Cape
(Remote working opportunities allowed)
Permanent Contract - Subject to a three-month probation period.
Starting Date: As soon as possible

General requirements:

Relevant honours degree with at least 4-years post- articles experience,
As well as a SAIPA, AGA, or CIMA charter.
Experience managing a team – strong leadership skills is important
Xero Cloud Accounting experience.
Own transport & valid code 08 license
