SUMMARY:
An Internal Vacancy exists for a Site Manager/Tactical Coordinator in the Mining Division in based in Impala Platinum, Rustenburg Mine
The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:
POSITION INFO:
- Day to day operational duties surface and underground, responding to incidents
- Opening of dockets for SAPS and for internal use
- Crime scene management
- Attending to unrest situations (labour and community)
- Incident and Risk management
- Fleet management
- Ensure compliance to the Company’s disciplinary code
- Ensure that all company SOP’s are followed
- Ensure that court procedures are fulfilled
- Liaise with HR department concerning disciplinary enquiries to ensure fulfilment thereof
- Firearm proficient
Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills: - PSIRA certification Grade A
- Riot Control
- Comp A and Comp B
- Accredited Tactical training
- Diploma in Security management or environment will be an advantage
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Computer skills (DMS and Office)
- Knowledge of the criminal procedure act
- Firearm competency Handgun, shotgun, rifle
- Statement of results with Business Purpose for all firearms
- Will undergo polygraph test as needed
- The ability to communicate and present at all levels
- The ability to work under pressure
- Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record
- Driver’s licence (Preferably EC1 or EC with PDP)
- Undergo screening process prior to interview, which the candidate needs to be successful in all requirements
Screening process will be as follow:- Shooting exercise
- Member needs to be successful with all the above to be successful for the selection to continue with the process of MIE screening and polygraph.
