Site Agent / Site Manager (February 2022)

POSITION INFO:
Education requirements:

Construction Degree or Diploma is essential
10+ years experience gained with large building projects is essential

Duties:

Manage the Construction Project
Implement systems to improve process efficiency and reduce project duration
Managing all construction work
Monitored supply levels and monitored cost-effective materials to reduce project expenses
Adhered to budget – to achieve timely and cost-effective project deliverables
Guided and directed third party inspectors through project construction, commissioning, and closeout
Kept sites compliant with Health and Safety and local regulations to prevent unnecessary delays
Performed regular job site observations to provide direction for sub-contractors and foremen
Documentation control and filing
Programming and monitoring monthly and weekly against progress
Monthly and weekly meeting to monitor progress, cost reports and quality control
Enforce compliance across project personnel and operation, limiting lost time incidents
Coordinate with site personal, clients and local government officials to achieve on time projects delivery

Our Client has a Citrus Packing Plant project in the Redelinghuys area that is a village in the Bergrivier Local Municipality in the Western Cape province of South Africa, located about 160 kilometres north of Cape Town on the Verlorevlei River.
