Site Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client is in URGENT need of a Site Manager to be based either in or around Alberton to start on the 01 April 2021. The successful individual will be managing both of our client’s sites (Sasol Secunda and Sasolburg) and will be required to travel between Alberton to site.

POSITION INFO:
Duties include but not limited to:
Project Management
-Coordinating staff and internal resources
-Manage the execution of construction and maintenance of racking shelving onsite
-Managing project progress and adapt work as required
-Ensuring projects meet deadlines
-Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
-Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project
-Conducting project reviews and creating detailed reports for executive staff
-Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
-Managing multiple and diverse teams
 
Safety and Risk Management
-Conduct Pre-Task Risk Assessments (PTRA) and Site Inspections
-Identifying possible unwanted occurrences/Potential Hazards
-Ensuring equipment is stored and used correctly and Safely
-Determining ways of reducing risks
-Liaising with external Health and Safety Authorities
-Ensuring compliance with current Health and Safety Legislation

Minimum Requirements:
-Experience in a Management or similar role
-Must live in or around Alberton
-Must be computer literate
-Experience in working with MS Office(excel) is a must
-Must know and understand Sasol safety procedures (PTRA, PDA etc.)
-Experience of working with/Knowledge of steel is a must
-Drivers License
