Site Manager

POSITION INFO:

The foreman assigns duties and is responsible for monitoring the progress of a project and keeping it on track from a time and quality standpoint.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Quality of work is up to standard
• Ensure work is completed on time as per program
• Ensure subcontractors perform the work on time and that high standard of quality is achieved
• Ordering of all materials in time and distributing of materials for future and current work
• Orders to be placed via a site requisition and submitted to the C.M.
• Ensure plant on site is utilized to maximum capacity
• To ensure plant on site is well looked after and maintained
• Ensure all construction are completed to architects and engineer’s specifications
• Ensure all subbies and employees are managed to be utilized to the maximum capacity
• Enforce all safety on site
• Enforce environmental requirements
• Ensure industry standards are met on site
• Supply daily feedback on program progress, problems and issues direct to C.M
• Plan daily and weekly activities
• Material control and wastage management
• Inform all subbies of planning
• Problem solving on site with input from C.M.
• Sign off on implemented procedures
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the company
• Ensure all building inspections as required by Council are booked and inspected by the local authority
• Adhere to all NHBRC requirements and regulations
• Adhere to all NBR requirements
• Be fully responsible for project operation and operation effect
• Deliver all construction builds on-time, on-scope, on-quality and on-budget
• Handling all queries to ensure correct deliverables
• Reporting and feedback to senior management
