Site Engineer (Mauritius)

Our client a large building contractor in Mauritius , specialising in Luxury Villas and Apartment developments require an experienced Site Engineer to join their project team:-

The successful candidate will require: -
·        Minimum 4 years experience in building construction , experience on apartment type projects an advantage.
·        Relevant Construction qualification
·        Assist Site Manager regarding work progress , technical , information flow , liaison with client , monitoring of weekly and monthly programme , daily records , material required and ensure work done to specs/drawings
·        Liaise with Foremen regarding project progress , quality and team performance , assisting with technical , production and resourcing.
·        Interpretation and implementation of engineers and architects drawings , specifications and instructions.
·        Implementation and management of Quality Assurance system
·        Assist quantity surveyor with relevant information of additional work , possible claims , contra charges and any information that could assist profitability.
·        Work in conjunction with the M&E Coordinator , planning that installation run to programme , quality and without delays.
·        Sub contractor management and liaison , planning ,  provide information and technical assistance to insure smooth integration with the contracting team.
·        Health and safety implementation
·        Attend all site and sub contractor meetings
