SUMMARY:
Here is a great opportunity to join an Infrastructure Engineering firm based in Pretoria. The ideal candidate enjoys travelling, working on various sites, liaising with contractors and working on Building and construction Projects. If you are hands on, and enjoy being out of the office, this is the ideal opportunity for you.

POSITION INFO:

Performing civil design on AutoCAD

Reporting to Project Manager/Civil Engineer

Performing site inspections and overseeing Sub-contractors on-site

Managing Building and construction projects

Appointing sub-consultants, Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineers

Approving site Layouts and access approvals

Surveying service stations, manholes, roads, forecourt edges of buildings

Preparation of drawings for projects and liaising with contractors

Basic contract administration

Skills & Experience:

Working knowledge of AutoCAD

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent task management skills

Willing to travel to various building and construction sites around South Africa, Botswana and Swaziland

Must have project management capabilities

Taking minutes of a meeting

Experience working on site, and liaising with contractors

Qualification:

NDip / BTech in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Project Management

Valid Drivers’ License

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
