SUMMARY:
Our client, a Civil Construction company is looking for a Site Agent/ Project Manager for a 14–16-month contract to join their team in Bronkorstspruit.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant Civil Engineering qualification.
- 2 years experience with qualification.
- 5 years experience without qualification.
- Computer literate.
- Experience working with Roads, Water, Sewer, Storm water, Water Purification works, Reservoirs, small Concrete Works and Building industry.
Main responsibilities:
- Management of projects.
- Contract administration for Civil Contracts.
- Quantities and Payment Certificates.
- Progress report writing.
- Plant, Labour and material allocation for construction.
- Estimation of costs.
- Expenditure patterns.
- Claim evaluation.
- Inspection and evaluation of civil work correctness according to specifications of contract.
- Technical problem resolution.
- Production and cost monitoring.
- Site management.
Additional Information:
- Accommodation on site will be provided if needed.
- This is a government project, so experience in a government project would be beneficial.
