JOB DESCRIPTION:

Site Agent / Site Manager reporting to Contracts Director

Experience required: Must have 10 to 15 years experience as Site Agent OR Site Manager gained on upmarket residential building projects.

Education required: A Building degree or diploma is preferred but 10 years experience is more valuable to our client and experience is more valuable for this specific client

Summary of project we are recruiting for: Our client is a building contractor who have recently been awarded a R30 Million Residential Private Residence for a high end client in the Stellenbosch area and are looking for a competent Site Manager to run this high end project. This position reports directly to the Contracts Director.

Duties:

Ensure that plans are according to specifications
Manager entire Site co-ordination
Arranging payments and delivery dates for building materials
Implementation of Health & Safety regulations with contractors including SHE files as main contractor
Approve invoices from contractors and suppliers
Chair meetings with architects, engineers, foreman
Setting out site according to building plans
