Site Agent / Site Manager

SUMMARY:
Site Agent / Construction Manager required for a leading developer based in the northern suburbs of Gauteng. Preference shall be given to a Construction Project Manager who is registered with SACPCMP as Professional Construction Manager or Project Manager

POSITION INFO:

• A formal building degree or diploma is essential
• CCS certificate an advantage
• Experience with MS Project a bonus
• Preference shall be given to a Construction Project Manager who is registered with SACPCMP as Professional Construction Manager or Project Manager

Summary of the role we are recruiting for:

We are ideally looking for a person who has at least 10 years’ experience gained with upmarket residential construction building projects.

Knowledge and experience with smart home installations products during complex building is ideal

You shall be expected to handle meetings with clients and architects to establish work parameters and restrictions, co-ordinating sub-contractors and work being done in line with the construction programme and specification, signing off on completed work and inspecting quality of work, updating the programme and completing the quality control check lists, preparing snag lists of own work before architects inspections and preparing samples for inspection and approval by client and architect, to name but a few.

This position is site based on numerous residential building projects and reports to a Senior Contracts Director who is office based
