SUMMARY:
Site Agent / Contracts Manager required for a leading building contractor in Durban North

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main Purpose: To ensure the efficient implementation, execution and management of numerous multi-disciplinary building projects

Minimum Requirements:
  • Degree or National Higher Diploma in Building Management or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years experience in a Site Agent / Management position in the Building Industry. Preference will be given to applications with commercial building project experience
  • Success track record regarding the execution of building contracts
  • Must be able to plan and program a project on MS Projects
  • Experience with regard to liaising with professional consultants
  • Experience in construction of structures of buildings - Building Structures
  • Networking and negotiating skills and experience
  • Ability to manage timescales and budget of a project
  • Working knowledge of the JBCC contract
  • Proven leadership skills and abilities
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English and at least one other official language
Our Client is a medium size Building Contractor that have multiple building projects in the Durban area
