POSITION INFO:

This Site Agent role is site based on a building site and reports to a Senior Contracts Manager who is site based as well as a Contracts Director who is office based. 

Education & experience required: Building Degree or Diploma with 12+ years experience with Commercial Building projects

Duties:

• Contract Initiation and Implementation with a Senior Contracts Manager and Contracts Director
• Contract Delivery and Handover
• Effective Implementation and management of the SHEQ system
• Effective control and management of all commercial issues related to the projects
• Regular interaction with clients and consultants including chairing professional meetings
• Effective programming and execution of overall construction programme
• Responsible for leading the whole construction team
• Management of site staffing and labour
• Management and Control of Sub-Contractors
• Quality control monitoring
• Co-ordinating between various trades
• Drawing information off BOQ''s and tenders to ensure that the correct work and quantities are implemented
• Assisting Directors with implementing commercial decisions in the best interest of the company
• Maintaining relationship with Architect, PQS''s, and clients for future contracts
• Training existing and new staff to improve their skills within the company
• Mentoring staff
• Assisting with management of plant and transport logistics
