POSITION INFO:

Knowledge required: Contractual: NEC, JBCC - Microsoft Office - Construction Processes - Design Specifications - Sequence building - Health and Safety

Experience required: 2-3 years with a construction qualification in construction. B-tech in Construction Management OR Degree OR Diploma in Building or Construction 

As Site Agent you shall report to a Contracts Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor

People reporting to you as Site Agent shall include Site Clerk, General Foreman, Senior Foreman, Site Engineer, Finishing foreman, Junior Foreman, Storeman, Artisans, General workers & Labourers as well as Interns

Must be able to work in partnership with Health & Safety Officer, PA to Contracts Manager, Contracts Supervisor and a Buyer

Summary of this specific Site Agent role:

To manage projects, ensuring that all aspects including managing of project specific contract documentations, design, additional costings, programme and health and safety is in accordance with the company standards (SOP’s), whilst effectively managing project teams and building relationships with all relevant parties to ensure successful and timely completion.

Construction Site Agents manage projects from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within its budget in conjunction with their Contract’s manager.

As a Site Agent, you could be working on a wide variety of projects from New Builds to Refurbishment and/or maintenance projects. A Site Agent manages 1 major project with smaller projects. At all times, they are the first point of contact for Team members, members of the public, client, and sub-contractors, this would be for the duration of the contract.

You are responsible & accountable for managing your site team, sub-contractors and monitoring work progress and quality according to the programme. In conjunction with your Contracts Manager you will manage critical dates, labour force, additional costings, project allowables
