POSITION INFO:

Silverlakes, Pretoria East: BOOKKEEPER

Minimum Requirements:

-Professional Afrikaans speaking female

-Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must (Afr & Eng client base)

-Bookkeeping/Accounting Diploma preferred

-Minimum 3 years recent full Bookkeeping experience a must

-Computer literate in MS Office (Word, Excel etc.) and Pastel Evolution / Sage Evolution a must

-High attention to details and accuracy

-Able to work under pressure

-Excellent verbal and communication skills in both Afrikaans and English

-Responsible and reliable

-Stable employment record and contactable references

-To start immediately

Working hours:

Retail working hours from Mondays to Friday 07h30am – 17h00pm, including approximately 2 Saturdays per month

Duties:
-Full bookkeeping function for wholesale retail company

-Full debtors and Creditors accounting function

-Administer cash-ups and banking

-Cashbook postings and reconciliations

-Manage expenses and budget.

-Administer Petty-Cash payments / allocations and reconciliations.

-Salary preparations.

-Preparation of SARS Monthly Returns

-General administrative work / other duties required by management.

-Feedback to management.

Salary: R 17 000.00 - R 20 000.00 gross maximum
