JOB DESCRIPTION:

Dynamic Show room champion with excellent Administration skills and a Passion for Customers required for company based in the Johannesburg West area. Ideally should have extensive kitchenware and related equipment experience

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Overall management of Showroom and Test Kitchen
  • Set and maintain the standard for showroom and test kitchen cleanliness and neatness
  • Ensure the appropriate company product range is displayed and available in the showroom
  • Scheduling of live demonstrations with the external sales team
  • Responsible for taking the appropriate action and contacting those required to resolve showroom issues – example: product repair, electrical issues, maintenance issues
  • Answering of phones and email queries from customers
  • Deal appropriately with customer complaints and queries
  • Provide administrative support for the internal and external sales team
  • Capture orders for customers in the showroom
  • Capture showroom traffic leads and appointments
  • Manage the diary for the test kitchen as well as the showroom
  • Management of all labels
  • Appropriate guidance, interaction and referral of customers
  • Lead presentations or training sessions with customers in the showroom and test kitchen if required
  • Demonstrate products and emphasise the features and benefits
  • Answer all relevant product and technical queries
  • Invite, encourage and drive traffic to the showroom by collaboration with the sales teams and using own initiative
  • Monitor, record and manage showroom traffic as well as relevant additional reports
  • Nurture relationships with walk-in showroom customers as well as regular clients
  • Maintain an awareness of competitive products

 

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant tertiary sales-based qualification would be beneficial
  • Extensive Customer facing and interaction experience is essential
  • Knowledge and previous experience with kitchen-based equipment is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant Customer Care/Support/Demonstration experience
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and staff
  • Strong presentation as well as training skills
  • Computer literate - MS Office as well as SAP or similar ERP/MRP system
  • Good financial skills
  • South African citizens only
