Showroom Assistant - High End - Interior/Decor 

Location: Western Cape George - Cape Town

SALARY: R10 000 - Plus Benefit's

Requirements.

• Matric Certificate - Mandatory

• Interior design, visual merchandising, retail, is a plus.

• 1–3 years’ experience in retail, preferably in furniture, interior design, home décor, or luxury goods.

Skills

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Strong sales and product knowledge abilities.

• Eye for aesthetics, color coordination, and interior styling.

• Organized, with attention to detail and presentation.

• Proficiency in POS systems, inventory software, and possibly design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Roomstyler).

• Comfortable working on weekends, holidays, and in a fast-paced environment.

Personal Traits

• Polished, professional appearance and demeanor.

• Passion for design and luxury furnishings.

• Confidence to interact with affluent clientele and possibly interior designers or architects.

Duties.

• Greet and assist clients in the showroom with a tailored, consultative approach.

• Understand client needs and recommend suitable products.

• Provide product specifications, pricing, and fabric/material options.

• Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and after-sales service.
