Shophand (Golf Course Maintenance)

Shophand - we are looking for an energetic team player, as part of The Links Golf Course Maintenance team.
 
We consider the following as essential:

 Qualifications & Experience:        

• Grade 12 or equivalent,
• A valid driver’s license,
• A minimum of 1 – 2 years’ years’ basic mechanical knowledge or previous workshop experience.

Duties & Responsibilities (areas and indicators listed are not exhaustive and may be changed / supplemented to accommodate business needs from time to time):            

• Assist the mechanic to repair and maintain golf course equipment and machinery,
• To grind and sharpen all cutting blades and reels (rotary and cylinder),
• To provide both preventive and repair maintenance,
• Assist the maintenance team as needed,
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Adverse working conditions:      

• Must be prepared to work weekends & Public holidays,
• Must be prepared to work shifts.
