JOB DESCRIPTION:

Shophand - we are looking for an energetic team player, as part of The Links Golf Course Maintenance team.

We consider the following as essential:

Qualifications & Experience:

Grade 12 or equivalent,
A valid driver’s license,
A minimum of 1 – 2 years’ years’ basic mechanical knowledge or previous workshop experience.

Duties & Responsibilities (areas and indicators listed are not exhaustive and may be changed / supplemented to accommodate business needs from time to time):

Assist the mechanic to repair and maintain golf course equipment and machinery,
To grind and sharpen all cutting blades and reels (rotary and cylinder),
To provide both preventive and repair maintenance,
Assist the maintenance team as needed,
Perform other duties as assigned.

Adverse working conditions:

Must be prepared to work weekends & Public holidays,
Must be prepared to work shifts.
