SUMMARY:
A well-known Automotive and Industrial Paint, Abrasive and Equipment Company requires the above to attend to and liaise with customers ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Minimum grade 12 and previous experience having worked as a Shop Assistant within a retail Automotive and Industrial Coatings or related environment is essential.
• The successful candidate must have a basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Must be computer literate.
• The successful candidate must have good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Previous product knowledge within the Automotive and Industrial Coatings industry would be advantageous.
• Must be able to prioritise orders – plan and organise accordingly.
• Must be pro-active with good problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Liaise with the Warehouse regarding stock receiving and dispatching.
• Assist with colour matching when required to do so.  
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to within the Branch and Warehouse.  
• Receive, process and organise shipments and deliveries accordingly.
