Shipping Clerk

SUMMARY:

A dynamic company based in the Northern Suburbs is looking to employ a Shipping Clerk with 4 years’ experience in Shipping and estimation.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Matric

Driver’s License & Own vehicle

Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Logistics would be advantageous

Strong Excel & Syspro skills negotiable  

Knowledge of Control, manage, plan and co-ordinate Import Control, Export Control, Road Freight and Sea Freight

Track shipments with clearing agents with regards to timelines, custom releases or detentions

Assist the Sales team with export quotations via air, sea and road.

Advise Sales and Warehouse of planned deliveries.

Exceptional confidentiality, attention to detail and accuracy is essential and necessary

Ensure that all stakeholders are up to date with gazetted amendments and regulations, etc.

 Maintaining NRCS Compliance, administering the planning, controlling, coordinating and communicating of the shipping function of the Company
