Qualifications / Requirements:

• Matric
• Relevant qualification in Logistics
• Valid code 10 driver’s license
• Relevant Supervisory experience in the logistics / warehousing industry
• Good communication skills
• Practical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Sober habits

Key Performance Areas:

• Production planning
• Closely oversee and manage the implementation of all assigned tasks and daily production targets, making sure that they are in line with company policies and procedures
• Manage the loading of trucks and offloading
• Generate daily accurate activity reports
• Risk assessments
• SHEQ compliance: ensure all team members are inducted and trained on all SHEQ policies, procedures and systems and oversee that they adhere to them correctly
• Incident and accident reporting
• Client relations: communicate with customers, when the need arises, in a professional and courteous manner
• People management/ leadership skills
• Manage discipline by ensuring that company policies and procedures are always adhered to.
• Logistics management
