Requirements

  • DMR/ MQA Blasting Certificate
  • Valid Shift Supervisor Certificate of Competency
  • 3 years Shift Supervisor experience in an underground hard rock environment
  • Safety or Risk Certificate (Comsoc) will be advantageous.

KPA

  • Take all reasonable measures to ensure that all persons under your charge are properly and adequately instructed on the correct and proper use of such machinery or equipment.
  • Optimize production through the utilization of resources, motivation and development
  • Health and safety compliance management to mine health and safety standard procedures
  • Responsible for the mining operations (Services and production)
  • Take reasonable care to protect the safety of the team
  • Conduct formal execution planning routines
  • Track progress and detect deviations of available systems
  • Analyse trends and find solutions for sustainable improvements
