SUMMARY:
Our client a leader in the Tissue Paper manufacturing industry requires the services of a Production Shift Supervisor to be based at their Paper Mill in Spartan, Kempton Park.
This position is responsible and accountable for all operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The following must always be ensured:

Quality standards of product are met.
SHERQ standards are maintained.
Profit Improvement Plans.
Customer/Supplier Relationships.

The candidate is required to have minimum 5 years experience in tissue, pulp & paper industry. Exposure in leadership role will be an advantage.
Responsibility will be but not limited to:-

Responsible for the efficiency of the Paper machines on a shift basis.
Responsible for effectively managing costs within the production budget.
Effectively managing of Human Resources
Effective management of safety, health, and environment.
Mini business manager and control over equipment including Autonomous maintenance.
Leader, coach and mentor of the manufacturing team.
Computer Experience on DMS, Intranet, Office suits, Checksheets and adherence to

Manufacturing Excellence.

Educational Qualifications for the role will be:-

NDip Pulp and paper or Btech Pulp & Paper
Diploma in Supervisory Development Programme (SDP)
