Settlements Officer
POSITION INFO:
ï‚· Ensure efficient booking of Bond Trades
ï‚· Ensure all Bond settlements run smoothly
ï‚· Be able to process entries on BDA
ï‚· Liaise with counterparties in relation to all daily settlements
ï‚· Determine daily liquidity requirements for the Treasury dealers
ï‚· Ensure accurate maintenance of all records and documentation as per JSE requirements.
ï‚· Identify and assess the risks, which could prevent the objectives of your role.
Need good operations experience in Fixed Income
Must have all the RPEs or most of them
Qualifications:
1. Registered Persons Examinations (SAIFM):
1.1. Regulation and Ethics of the South African Financial Markets;
1.2 Introduction to the Financial Markets;
1.3 The Bond Market; and
1.4 The Derivatives Market
2. JSE Bonds Settlement Officer Exam (SAIFM)
