My client is looking for an experienced bonds settlements officer to join a growing and dynamic team. This is a permanent opportunity at a well established financial services firm in the Southern Suburbs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the settlement obligations of bond trades in terms of JSE rules and directives
- Provide support to the operations team
- Advise the JSE of any issues that could potentially impact the settlement of a transaction
- Monitor and communicate trade statuses to clients, banks and the JSE where required
Requirements:
- Finance or Investment degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bond settlements
- Solid understanding of financial instruments
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience using Nutron, BDA and Swordfish
- Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates
