Settlement Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client in Financial Markets is looking for an experienced Settlement Officer to manage the settlement of Equity, Derivative and Bond Trades.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a Stock broking environment with solid understanding of financial instruments
  • Mandatory B.Com Finance/ Investments / Economics Degree coupled with JSE exams -RPE / Bond/Equities  Settlement Officer Exams
  • Experience booking trades/ settlements on Nutron, MecrasBDA and Swordfish is required
  • Liaison with Settlement Authority & Banks to ensure payment limits are appropriate
