Setter (Injection Moulding) - Automotive Industry

POSITION INFO:

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Lead the team to meet mission, vision and values of the Company
• Lead the team to meet and/or exceed the daily/weekly QSCM targets
• Creates an empowered team which makes decisions and solves problems (suggestions and continuous improvement)
• Ensure FIFO
• Demands improved service from suppliers
• Looks for ways to improve service to customers and knows customer rating
• Maintain and manage health, safety, environmental and ergonomic standards
• Provide on the job training to subordinates
• Management of subordinates (attendance, absence control, discipline)

Minimum Requirements:

• NQF 4 (Minimum)
• 2 years’ leadership experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Automotive Industry experience
• 5 years’ experience with setting of tube bending machinery
• Working knowledge of PLC setting experience
• Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• A working knowledge of IATF16949 Quality Management System
