Service Technician (Water Treatment)

POSITION INFO:

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
2. Assist with chemical service and checks with existing service contracts
3. Assist with project installations, commissioning and training
4. Ensure professional and successful commissioning
5. Creates a continuous improvement plan

REQUIREMENTS

1. Matric
2. Millwright qualification
3. N6 or Relevant University qualification in Mechanical/Chemical engineering would be a plus
4. 2 to 5 years of experience in water treatment and operations
5. Exposure in water treatment technologies in market e.g., RO, Filters, valves
6. Have a clear understanding of project or bid requirements – scope, cost, sched
7. Sales and marketing experience
8. Knowledge of current water treatment space
9. Valid driver''s license
10. Must be able to lift 25kg and traverse over difficult terrain
11. Ability to work under pressure
12. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, OHS advantageous
