POSITION INFO:

Leading Industrial Refrigeration company in Cape Town is looking for a Supervisor to manage a team of Ammonia technicians.

Responsibilities/functions would include but not be limited to:

• Responsible for all the operational activities of service department namely:
• o Field service work
• o Rebuild work carried out in the workshop
• o Commissioning of new installations
• Supervising Service Technicians, this would include:
• o Allocation of jobs to technicians
• o Ensuring that work is carried out to the client’s satisfaction
• o Manage technicians time sheets
• Ensuring that the description of work carried out by a technician is correctly reported
• Ensuring that the correct time worked and all the spares used are booked onto the job card
• Drawing up of a stand-by roster and ensuring that a technician is available at all times for after hour call outs
• Be available for after hour call outs
• Maintain high standard of service levels
• Responsible for safety standards on site
• Monitoring of N.A. time
• Customer liaison
•  Sale of industrial service work and spares
•  Liaison with suppliers
• Quotations
•  Administration:
• o Opening of new service jobs
• o Ensuring all the relevant information is attached to the job in SAP
• o Ensuring completed jobs are invoiced timeously
