JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are now accepting applications for a Service Assistant: Night Duty.

The purpose of this job is to provide room, food & beverage and porter services during the night shift, and to assist the Night Manager to ensure efficient overall service during night shift (between 23h00 and 07h00).

It must be someone with drive and passion for the industry and with the ability to maintain the Leading Hotel of the Worlds standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, must be able to work under pressure, be able to multi tasks and have an eye for detail.

A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent with a driver’s license and PDP (or at least the physical and legal clearance to obtain a PDP), a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, 1 years’ experience as a Waitron / Porter in a 4* or 5* establishment and with a basic understanding of food preparation.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Waitron duties;
Room service duties;
Porter duties;
Front office duties;
Reporting guest feedback to the Night Manager;
Assist guests with relevant information if and when needed.
