Senior VAT Auditor – Kimberley
This position will give preference to BBBEE candidates, due to BEE requirements.
Location: Kimberley – Northern Cape
Position Overview:
A leading professional services consulting firm that specialises in VAT Audits, has an excellent opportunity available for a skilled Senior VAT Auditor, to be based at their office located in Kimberley.
Main responsibility will be to conduct end to end VAT audits on behalf of clients to identify any VAT that is claimable that the client did not claim during the financial period, including the submission of monthly VAT201, VAT201 Reviews and liaising with SARS on any assessments and or objections for the period.
Key Requirements to be liable for consideration:
- BCom Accounting qualification
- 5 Years ‘or more related experience in VAT
- Understanding apportionment ratios and the application thereof
- Experience in conducting VAT Audits
- Submission of VAT 201 and VAT Reviews
- Experience with SARS Assessments
- Reconciliations
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence are a must as this job includes extensive travelling to clients
- Microsoft Excel
Note: Afrikaans speaking ability will be considered an advantage
