Senior Test Engineer - first Tester for a team in Edinburgh!
POSITION INFO:
An award-winning medical technology company in Edinburgh is looking to hire a Senior Software Tester into their team.
This is a chance to join them on the ground level of what ishaping up to be a meteoric rise to be the next tech success story to come out of Edinburgh, as well as the opportunity to join a company which is making a positive impact on society!
 It''s also a rare opportunity to grow and lead the company''s software testing team (you''ll be Tester number 1!), and improving their software testing processes (so some experience in doing something similar would be ideal!). You''ll be working closely with the Development and Product teams, working across both mobile and web applications.
You''ll have most of the following skills:
** Manual and automation testing
** Experience scoping out areas for automated testing, creating a strategy and implementing automation testing (Selenium experience would be a bonus!)
** Be a champion of testing - offering advice and guidance on how to develop the function
** Longer term - grow, mentor and lead the testing team
** Experience with testing mobile applications, as well as web-based applications
** Penetration testing experience would be a bonus!
The salary on offer is £40,000 - £50,000, with a strong holiday package, career growth and the change to work on something that genuinely matters.
The company''s headquarters is in Edinburgh City Centre, so the office is easily accessible. When safe to do so, they will expect you to spend most of your time in the office or at least be commutable to the office a couple of times per week.
