Attention all Senior Systems Administrators with experience in Cloud and self-hosted infrastructure. Our client with branches in some of the most booming economies, is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator for their Cape Town branch.

This is an exciting role that has been created due to growth. It offers you the opportunity to join the server and network infrastructure team responsible for designing, installing, and configuring internal and customer facing servers, networks, devices, and firewalls. This is a great position to apply your knowledge, skills and experience to get exposure in a futuristic driven company.

Education:

  Tertiary qualification in IT is highly beneficial.

  Microsoft Certification (MCSE) beneficial

  Microsoft Azure Certification beneficial.

  Linux Certified System Administration beneficial.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

6+ years’ experience in a similar role.

Windows Server (2016,2019) operating Systems.

Linux Operating systems.

Management of large server infrastructure across multiple sites.

Management of deployments/rollouts.

Management of Terminal Server installations.

VMWare Server/ESX.

Veeam.

LAN/WAN networking.

Microsoft IIS administration and configuration.

Migration of Exchange 2016 / Office 365.

Active Directory/LDAP.

Troubleshoot network issues including back bone infrastructure issues.

Troubleshoot VPN issues.

LAN Routing and Switching(VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Q trunks)
