POSITION INFO:
Senior IT Engineer required to join a very successful and established Professional Services Company based in Edinburgh.
The role will mainly consist of providing 1st and 2nd line support on a variety of complexed IT systems to customers and clients. On top of this you will also be involved in the overall maintenance of the company''s infrastructure, such as installing new hardware and performing system upgrades.
The salary for this role is £36k-£41k depending on experience and is 37.5 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a similar role, and will have a solid understanding of network infrastructure, such as routers, switches, and firewalls. You will also have experience in cloud-based platforms, such Azure or AWS and be able to troubleshoot issues on Office 365.
Key skills and experiences:
** Experience in Linux CentOS/REHL
** Knowledge of Desktop and Server programmes such as Microsoft Windows OS
** Administration of company''s WAN and VPN connections
** ITIL foundation
** Excellent communication and planning skills
** Customer focused
