PROCESS ï‚· Conduct audits in accordance with approved Internal Audit methodology. ï‚· Manage client interaction for allocated areas of scope.  ï‚· Attend audit team kick-off and close-out meetings. ï‚· Prepare process analysis documentation (medium complexity processes). ï‚· Prepare the data analytics audit program that is aligned to the Risk and Control Matrix (RCM) of the audit (high complexity processes).

ï‚· Conduct data analytics fieldwork using relevant tools including ACL and SQL. ï‚· Develop data analytics scripts for continuous monitoring purposes. ï‚· Draft business understanding documents and related flow charts of allocated scope area for manager review. ï‚· Conduct fieldwork and testing to the required standard. ï‚· Develop and utilise a sound understanding of business processes, risks and controls including relevant regulatory and accounting issues. ï‚· Identify process, information and control gaps and seek additional information if necessary. ï‚· Ensure that information generated is accurate, valid and comprehensive prior to review and/or reporting. ï‚· Document findings and discuss these with control owners to confirm factual correctness. ï‚· Take responsibility to clear and finalise all queries/reporting points. ï‚· Review own working papers for quality and completeness before sending to Audit Manager for review. ï‚· Ensure all review queries are cleared within reasonable timeframe (expectation 48 hours). ï‚· Focus on problem solving/high risk areas during the audit. ï‚· Track audit progress status and effectively communicate any anticipated challenges, delays, etc. ï‚· Share knowledge gained throughout the audit engagement and/or otherwise with the team members. ï‚· Follow-up and update internal audit findings tracking document.

Required Qualifications ï‚· BCom/BSc IT degree (Hons degree preferred) . ï‚· Relevant data or IT Audit related certifications (would be an advantage).   Required Experience (relevant or in a similar role) 5 years related audit experience, of which a minimum of 4 years in data analytics
