Tech company that are going through a large digital transformation are looking for a skilled Developer (ideally with good PHP skills and AWS or Microservices experience) to join their growing digital team. Opportunity to work on a Market Leading SaaS product, alongside some really skilled Developers in Glasgow.
The company are going through a large digital transformation; they have already shed their ''Start-Up'' skin and aiming to become a force to be reckoned with, not just in Glasgow but across the globe. They have a Cloud based product which is now gaining a lot of attention worldwide and is quickly becoming the ''go-to'' platform for its purpose.
To help with their growth plans, they are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join the company and help push the platform to the next level - they are planning a big re-write of their current product with the latest tools available, something which you will be heavily involved with from day one.
You''ll ideally already have several years of experience within commercial Software Development using PHP - exposure with Symfony or Laravel would be handy. Additionally, you should feel comfortable developing large-scale applications, or have had prior experience developing SaaS based products. Massive bonus points go to anyone that has good experience with AWS and / or Microservices as you will be working with these technologies daily.
You will be joining a close-knit team made up of roughly 6 Software Developers, however they are planning to almost double in size over the next 12 months (they''ve recently acquired a new office-space roughly twice the size to meet their growth plans).
You will ideally have strong experience with most of the following;
** PHP (ideally with Symfony or Laravel)
** Software Architecture
** Cloud Services (AWS, Azure or GCP).
** Microservices
The teamwork with a range of modern technologies and are always keen to stick with the latest trends. Culture is really important to the them; they really value solid communications who can solve problems and enjoy learning on the job.
The company are based in Glasgow City Centre, walking distance from both Queen Street & Central Station. Like most they are currently working remotely, but do plan to go back to their office once it''s safe to do so. They''ve created a world-class working space for the Dev team in their new offices, that they are really proud of. However, they did offer flexible working arrangements long before now, so the option to work from home a few days a week is of course still on offer.
