SUMMARY:
Position: Senior Sales Support - Johannesburg based but working remotely.
Company: Well known brand in the Telecoms / ISP industry.
22 years’ experience in Network support, management and monitoring, an established business within the South African & African ICT market. A proud strategic provider for over 700 large scale clients within the South African market alone, and are well equipped across both infrastructure, and individual expertise, to manage an organisation’s network environment and requirements. The company has its own independent, national and international core network that encompasses diverse geographical routes, which offer the highest level of reach, redundancy and stability.

Candidate MUST come from the ISP / Telecoms industry and have at least 3 - 5 years sales administration AND support experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Join a team of highly organised, motivated & focused individuals, who enjoy streamlining internal and external sales operations so that it may contribute to the ultimate goal: Assisting the sales team with Customer and Revenue growth & retention. They have a whole performance culture where each person takes responsibility for their own area to ensure all the needed tasks & activities are performed on time and with quality as the priority. Remote working requires discipline, strong planning and an individual who can work at speed without having to be micromanaged.

Requirements:
Must have good connectivity at home
Must be an organised, efficient sales support person who will ultimately be responsible for assisting the sales team in gaining and keeping customers.
The sales support person's responsibilities include tracking sales leads, coordinating quotes for larger clients, providing customer service, assist the Account Manager with managing some customer accounts.
The sales support person is also responsible for quality assurance, process optimisation, sales training facilitation and some bid management tasks.
Proven / demonstrated history working in sales administration, -support or -operations for at least 3 - 5 years within the ISP / Telecoms (fixed line not Mobile) industry
Work experience / background in solution selling and experience the sales process from opportunity identification through to project delivery
Processing new sales leads – assign, manage & conclude – report once cycle is complete
Assist Account manager with the management of larger clients
Quality Assurance internally before it is forwarded for processing & project management:
Large orders, Bids, Large proposals
Manage the end-to-end bid process in conjunction with the Sales Enablement team
