SUMMARY:
The client is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join a national client in the technical space including pumps, valves, instrumentation or electrical.

Experience in working with a sales manager who sells projects, skills include understanding finance, commercial and technical risk, conditions of payment terms, and understanding of contracts. 60% of the business is project-driven.

Our client is a small to medium enterprise, so coming from a similar entity will be ideal (flat structure).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sales Management
Spend time with Reps on a national level
Experience of being in sales with no less than 4 years of sales management experience required.
The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives to create and maintain a high-performance salesforce
Achieving growth and sales objectives by successfully managing the sales team, whilst evaluating current product portfolios, marketing strategies, competitive conditions, and market development.
Map potential customers and generate leads for the sales team
Plan, control, and direct sales team training
Set individual sales objectives with the current team

Financial projects, parts experience
(financial management for non-financial managers) essential
Creating spreadsheets with the information required, resourceful
Prepare sales activity reports, present sales, and realistic forecasts to management (receive sales reports from staff and collaborate)
Assembling an annual budget and budget management
Control expenses and monitor budgets
Cash flow forecast
Knowledge of forwarding buying/forex all project-based
Manage month-end and year-end close processes for the department alongside the Finance department
