POSITION INFO:

Senior Sales Engineer (Slurry Pumps) (JB622)

East Rand (Servicing Africa)

R35 000 negotiable + Company Car + Commission

International entity, who specializes in providing solutions to the mining industry WRT mineral processing, requires the expertise of an experienced and senior Sales Engineer with not only the technical capabilities around pumps but also the ability to develop new business and maintain existing business.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implementation of effective sales and marketing strategies with a focus on new business development into Africa with a focus on the mining industry

Face to face sales

Management of a sales team

Negotiating rolling out of new contracts and take full control of the tender process

Monitoring and management of target VS achieved sales including accurate forecasting

Produce and present sales reports to EXCO

Provide valuable and accurate input WRT pricing strategies

Input into stock level management based on feedback from customers as well as market knowledge and expertise

Requirements:

Grade 12

Relevant technical qualification would be an advantage

5 + years as a Sales Engineer specific to the pumps industry

1 + years’ experience specific to the sale of Warman® pumps and other materials

1 + years sales experience into Africa
