SUMMARY:
Are you an experienced SQL DBA that is looking to work with a business that are experts in medical and the financial industry? Then this might be the role for you.

POSITION INFO:

As a highly motivated and experienced DBA, you will be responsible for delivering a number of key projects and setting the trends amongst the team. This is a technical lead role, and you will be required to lead projects in all SQL technical aspects and mentor the team as a senior member, therefore communication and interpersonal skills is a ‘must have’, with a strong background in relational databases, T-SQL and in-depth understanding of SQL Server architecture.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

B.Sc/B.Comm information degree or equivalent e.g. National Diploma: Information Technology (IT – Software Development)
Database development for schema creation and validation
SSIS creation
SQL Server Agent job creation
Stored Procedure creation
Stored Procedure performance optimisation
Data Extracts
Planned (IT Specific) Project Related Work
SQL Server Migrations
SQL Server instance installations and setup
SQL Server Service Pack installations
Replication setup/changes
