SUMMARY:
Amazing opportunity with our reputable client who is looking to hire a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities and Duties:

Prepare cost plans
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
Negotiate with the contractors
Control all stages of projects within predetermined budget and expenditure
Monitor and keep track of project progress, including forecasting of final costs and sales
Commercial vetting
Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts
Manage and produce cost reports
Monitor all commercial information in relation to project including labour, material and sub-contractor cost forecasting thus ensuring budgets adhered to
Be able to provide both summarized and detailed reports, on current activities
Agreeing Final Account with PQS

Qualifications:

University degree/diploma in quantity surveying
8-10 years post qualification related practical experience
Proficient in MS Office, Microsoft Project
Ability to use Construction Costing Software (“Candy”, “QTO”)
