Senior Quality Controller – George -Western Cape

POSITION INFO:

 Our client in the Financial Industry based in George is looking to employ a  Senior Quality Controller. 

Requirements:

• Appropriate tertiary qualification in auditing and completed SAICA articles.
• One to five years’ post-article experience in auditing
• Must be working towards or have CIA.
• Working knowledge of auditing software, Word, and Excel
• Own vehicle, a valid driver’s licence, and willingness to travel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Advanced organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills (English and Afrikaans)

Duties include but not limited to just the following:

• Perform the first level review of all deliverables, to assist in ensuring organisational and professional ethical standards are maintained, and that internal audit activities are carried out in compliance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IPPF Standards).
• Assists the directors of internal audit in managing internal audit staff and in the planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring of internal audit operations, including assisting in hiring, training, and evaluating staff, and taking effective actions to address performance matters:
• Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the team
• Identify areas requiring for training.
• Train employees on quality standards and procedures / Develop and conduct training for various quality process sections.
• Keeping abreast of standards and regulations
