Senior Project Library Coordinator

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Senior Project Library Coordinator for a 36 month contract post based in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

 

• B.Degree in Library & Information Science or related; plus Project Management qualification
• 5+ years library work experience in a supervisory capacity, and 2 years proven project management experience
• Experience of applicable Governance Legislation – PFMA, MFMA and SALB Act advantageous
• Must have valid driver’s license and be willing to travel frequently
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Education / Training facilitation background advantageous

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Ensure all projects progress as planned
• Manage the mini libraries across all nine provinces and monitor their activities to ensure sustainable service delivery and good record keeping
• Promote planned outreach programmes
• Render professional admin support function to staff
• Coordinate projects based on SLA’s and ensure all objectives and timelines are adhered to
• Liaise with various stakeholders and Provincial Coordinators

 

Salary: R41 646.00 per month CTC
