POSITION INFO:
Senior Performance Test Engineer required for a rapidly growing company in Motherwell.
This is an incredible time to join as the organisation has just landed several huge contracts, alongside their ever-growing product line as they continue to tackle very relevant and current problems faced worldwide.
Focusing on their core product, you''ll have the opportunity to own and deliver automated performance tests that will ensure the company''s product is able to perform and scale (scalability is a huge goal for them). You''ll be able to develop the performance testing from ground zero (this is a brand-new team!) by mentoring a team (between 2 -5 people), understanding the requirements and building up a test plan around them.
You''ll have strong performance testing experience (stress and load); automated testing experience, ideally with Python; lifetime testing across numerous projects (aka taking a system and really pushing it to the edges of its capability); working in a regulated environment and being passionate about developing the best processes for the company.
You''ll have experience with most of the following:
** Strong automated performance testing experience (essential)
** Review and validate other test cases
** Agile working practices
** Requirements and traceability analysis, implementation analysis
** Planning testing across multiple sprints
** Continuous integration
** Cloud-based platforms
Right now, they offer remote working, although they are still looking for people who live in the local area and would be looking for people onsite in their office when it is safe to do so.
The benefits package includes 32 days holiday (including 8 public holidays, but only 3 of which are fixed) and a 6% employer pension contribution. The salary on offer is up to £48,000.
