POSITION INFO:
RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the FINANCIAL PLANNING industry to recruit a SENIOR PARA-PLANNER (CFP qualification required) to be based at their offices in CENTURION. R25 000 to R35 000 + commission, depending on experience.
OUR CLIENT IS A NATIONAL COMPANY THAT HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR OVER TWO DECADES, SPECIALISING IN HOLISTIC FINANCIAL PLANNING INCLUDING MEDICAL SCHEME OPTIONS, GAP COVER, WILLS & TESTAMENTS, LIFE AND RISK COVER, SAVINGS AND INVESTMENTS, CAR AND HOME INSURANCE AS WELL AS BUSINESS INSURANCE.
Purpose of the Role
To carry out administrative, customer services, research and operational tasks and to provide Senior and Junior Planners with internal advice services.
Applicants should be/have the following:
Matric.
Relevant tertiary qualification.
Post graduate qualification, an advantage.
Certified Financial Planner (CFP), essential.
Thorough working knowledge of FICA and FAIS
Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
GENERAL OFFICE MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION.
RESEARCH:
On advice-related issues to be utilised in client reports/record of advice.
Of the ongoing developments in risk and investment products.
Of various investment and advice options for clients.
On financial markets and funds.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Follow the six step Financial Planning process.
Analysis on portfolios.
Prepare financial calculations for client portfolios.
Prepare risk calculations of shortfalls and provide solutions.
Investment, estate and risk planning.
OPERATIONAL TASKS:
Draft Record of Advice documents for Financial Planners.
Accompanying the Senior Wealth Planner to meetings and draft feedback to be sent to clients.
Assist in managing the client review process for Financial Planners.
Completion of work requests on behalf of Senior Wealth Planners as per the Financial Planning Practices policies.
Prepare for review meetings by drafting review reports on behalf of Senior Wealth Planners.
Risk Management record keeping – compliance and monitoring of all risk products offered.
Operational and regulatory reporting.
Assistance with audits.
Prepare analysis of client portfolio on behalf of Financial Planner.
Remuneration:
R25 000 to R35 000 + commission, depending on experience.
