POSITION INFO:

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Operations Administrator has become available with an Investment Management company, based in Cape Town. To succeed in this role they are looking for someone who is self-driven and able to work to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will mainly be responsible and deal with the asset administration of an assigned portfolio, as well as oversight of the team.

Responsibilities:

Oversight of the CIS asset admin team
Responsible for on-boarding and training any new team members
Ensuring that processes and control checks are performed and adhered to
Ensuring that statutory reporting is completed and submitted timeously.
Processing and administration of corporate events.
Managing all external audit related activities
Oversight of CIS asset administration, Daily NAV calculations, Scrip and cash reconciliations and Statutory reporting
Experience with corporate actions - including dividends distributions; corporate actions etc
Monitoring and ensuring that brokerage accounts are reconciled

Requirements:

Relevant Tertiary qualification
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
Previous experience managing a team
