Our client in the Freight Forwarding industry is recruiting for a skilled Senior Strategic New Business Sales Executive for their Johannesburg branch. Successful candidate must have a proven track record and experience within Freight Forwarding.
You will be expected to bring in NEW BUSINESS and reach targets. Strong hunter and customer care orientation is required for this position.
- Be the first contact between the company and potential customers
- Sourcing new business through industry market knowledge and research
- Cold Call and establish appointments with potential customers
- Present proposed solutions to customers
- Compile monthly reports on all sales activities
- Cold calling
- Acquiring strong sales experience
- Ability to problem solve and find a practical solution to issues
- Acquire good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to negotiate
- Able to work independently
- Computer literate
- Matric Certificate
- Industry qualification would be an advantage
- 5 years’ experience within clearing and forwarding sales
- Proven TRACK record for sales and reaching targets
