Senior Network Engineer – Reporting to the Group CIO

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Please attach all relevant qualifications)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum of 6 years’ experience working in a global enterprise network environment. At least 8 year’s experience in implementation, administering, and troubleshooting large datacenters network infrastructure devices, including routers, switches, wireless access points, controllers, WAN optimizers, and monitoring applications including but not limited to:

• Cisco CCNP R/S and Security
• Cisco FirePOWER Threat Defense (FTD)
• Cisco CCIE R/S and Security a plus
• Experience in network security technologies including but not limited to:
• SSL / TLS
• Certificate Authorities
• Certificate Chains
• Deep Packet Inspection (DPI-SSL)
• Deployment and configuration experience with Cisco’s FirePOWER Threat
• Defense FTD functionality, services, management tools, and appliances
• Supporting SD-WAN Technologies with CISCO iWan, Prime, APIC-EM, and live-action

JOB RESPONSIBIITES AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• Execute project and implementation activities
• Support the architecture, design, deployment integration
• Ability to discuss technical concepts and interdependencies with customers

• Ability to discuss technical concepts and interdependencies with customers
• Experience gathering high level functional and operational requirments
• Experience developing and managing multiple system designs concurrently
• Develop design documentation, standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and implementation/deployment plans
• Operational Activities:
• Test, install configure and update new and existing network components to ensure optimal performance
• Perform disaster recovery testing
• Perform system monitoring/analysis and performance tuning to identify problems or areas of improvement and formulate potential solutions
• Respond to incidents and request for issues and enhancements in the network
• Act as an escalation contact for issues encountered with the network infrastructure
• Provide RCA’s for incidents
• Engage with external vendors for support and enhancement activities
• Develop and generate reports on recurring basis
• Support integration activities to other IT systems
• Provide after hours and on call production support on a rotating basis
• Ability to manage multiple, often competing, priorities and tasks and follow through to completion on strict deadlines

    • Willing to work and rotate on a 24/7 schedule
    • Provide high-level/detailed solutions and technical support for network connectivity for both on-premises data centers and interoperability of cloud-related connectivity solutions.
