POSITION INFO:
Join a global engineering firm at the forefront of metals and mining innovation. They design world-class technologies that reduce costs, cut emissions, and improve safety across industrial operations. With a footprint all over the world, they’re growing a high-performance team based in Midrand.

As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll take the lead on designing, reviewing, and optimising high-temperature equipment for industrial furnaces. You’ll also mentor Junior Engineers, work across global teams, and deliver projects from concept through commissioning. Your expertise will directly influence the future of the engineering department.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Mechanical Engineering Degree (BEng or BTech)
ECSA registration as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech
10–15 years mechanical design experience, preferably in metals, mining or furnace environments
Strong skills in 3D design tools (AutoCAD, Inventor), FEA, and CFD
Proven track record in leading projects and mentoring Engineers
