POSITION INFO:

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To oversee all operational security matters within the different campuses and to provide a safe and secure environment in which staff and students can perform to their maximum in all areas of tertiary education. Residence and events management responsibilities to be equal to other duties.

1. Operational management for the Protection Services Unit Division

MINIMUM EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice, Security or related field

PSIRA Grade A Certification

Valid Driver’s licence

Security clearance certificate

PREFERRED MINIMUM EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Security or related field

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

5 years’ experience in which competence has been gained. .

PREFERRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

5 years senior management experience within a typical security environment including SAPS and or Military experience.
