POSITION INFO:
Managing, planning and directing the Library Acquisitions Department. Supervising, training and development of acquisition staff; managing the Information Resource Print Budget by overseeing and managing the processes and procedures of procurement and receipt of library materials. Overseeing and managing the financial administration, costing, budgeting and payments of library materials.
CORE COMPETENCIES
M+4 (Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science).
plus 3-5 years’ experience working in an academic institution.
A qualification and/or working experience in Financial or Procurement Management will be advantageous.
